Another Amazing Dream

by sexydeadstar on Aug.29, 2010, under Dreams

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted one of these so let me just remind that; I dream in colour, and I dream in ‘third-person’ seeing from an observer’s point of view.

At the start of the dream there’s nothing too exciting happening I’m at home [different to my real world home] and my family are asleep [different from my real world family] while me and my friends [again different from my real world friends] are in the Kitchen being loud, fooling around, and being annoying. For some reason we decide to go outside and as we do it goes from night to day instantly..

Someone gasps and shouts to look up in the sky and points towards this object flying in the sky, we start to chase and follow it. As it gets closer we realize that it’s some sort of ultra-tech hover device, as I realize this I’m pulling out my phone and constantly trying to snap pics of it but it’s far too fast. I start shouting for it to let me take a picture, it slows down but still not fast enough to snap with my for some reason slow camera on my phone.

We chase it through forests and mountains and all this beautiful unearthly scenery with such vivid and beautiful colours and strange plant-life, although the planet we were on was not my own Zolphyriate strangely enough. It manages to lose us deep in a cage of mountains and as we near some beautiful colourful cliffs overlooking a gorgeous city it for some reason finds us again, and this time it comes in close for a landing. It’s a strange looking device, like a giant П with a person standing on top. An amazingly gorgeous Eastern European boy was steering the device, he came in close enough so he could jump off and the device hovered higher above out of reach on it’s own. He started explaining the device and how he was testing it and that he invented it with some non-native beings shared knowledge [transferred into his own mind.]

I somehow fell in love with this boy just by seeing and talking with him we talked for a very long time about a lot of random things as well as the device. [The person steering the device stands right atop it, the device locks their feet in position so they cannot fall off, when the driver wants off the device it lowers near enough the ground for the person to jump off and then hovers back into the sky where other people cannot mess with it. When it's user is ready to go again the device starts making it's descent back towards the ground and the user's feet begin to lift off the ground and they themselves are hovered/compelled onto the top of the device. Either done with some sort of special shoes or a special film on the base of the shoes.] As it came time for him to leave he walked right up to me, grabbed me and gave me a tight hug and kissed me, he caressed me and then let go. I asked would I ever see him again? He told me that no matter what he would find me again, but that he had to complete the device’s testing and get it back.. I think somehow when he kissed me, the planet itself learned of me, and this beautiful giant creature came out of nowhere and stopping before me. I pet it and it lay it’s giant head on the ground as if to tell me to get on, I climb onto the creature and it starts taking me somewhere, and then I woke up.

[an]Droid-licious, Filmtastic, Thrilling 3D, Technosexual, Random Greatness, and AWH!-dorable

For the past few days I’ve been collecting links of various articles and things that I find interesting to share with everyone, and it’s been exhausting. I could probably continue compiling links that interest me forever but I will stop and just post this now, seperated in a few different categories: [an]Droid-licious; Filmtastic News; Thrilling 3D; Technosexual; Random Greatness; and AWH!-dorable.

Find the list of links after the bump.

A Semi-Realization

by sexydeadstar on May.01, 2010, under Games, Internet, technology

It would appear that one of my ideas has started to become a reality, at least partially. You might, or might not, remember my Futuretech #1 post… Basically it’s a virtual/augmented reality computer/gaming/entertainment system that can be installed in a room of your house [your bedroom even if you so choose].  One of the main components is a treadmill-like floor tile that goes in any direction. Now apparently there has been a similar device in development for some time now that I wasn’t aware of, while it’s not exactly like my idea it is a step in the right direction. The ‘CyberWalk’ is a giant ‘omni-directional’ square treadmill like device, while my idea was a small consumer-viable round any-direction treadmill floor tile with the ability to lock in place. After discovering about this important component of my idea I think I should spend some time scouring the internet for more evidence of other components

Futuretech #2

by sexydeadstar on Jan.30, 2010, under technology

Talking the other day a brilliant idea popped up, why not have full wall screens or “Digital Walls?” I even know how we’d install them… to some extent. They would be mounted on your full already existing wall or walls wherever you want with the glass and electronic components and all, OR you could go the route of just having the glass ‘Digital Wall’ screen installed instead of any real walls in new contruction or a remodel… Which is the route I personally would probably go for any and all of mine, Turn them off and you have see through walls, on and you don’t. Now what can you do with them you’re probably wondering? Anything you can imagine, they can play television, blu-ray, browse the internet [all wirelessly in 1080P], show ‘wallpapers’, mimic real walls in different colours with fake photo frames and such on them where you can place your own digital images…. Whatever, whenever. Maybe adding touch sensitivity and voice commands or who knows maybe even control by your cybernetic brain implants in the future.. Which is probably how I’d like to control it myself… You’re probably also wondering, what about my wall outlets? Well hello it’s the future, all electricity is going to be wireless.

Another idea I had that was very very closely related were ‘Digital Floors’ which are basically the same thing but not really meant for videos, more meant for changing the look of your flooring, for people like me that get bored with the same thing very easily. Now this would have to be a very strong glass to be able to handle having furniture and people on it and possibly things falling on it… Personally it would be amazing if you could install it in a new home without any real floor underneath it on a top floor so you can occasionally turn it off and look at the floor below… But as I said the glass would have to be VERY strong for it to cover such large areas it would probably also need support beams underneath… But I’m not engineer or whatever those are the guys that would have to figure out all the minor details like that I’m just here to put out ideas.

FutureTech #1

by sexydeadstar on Nov.20, 2009, under Internet, My Life, technology

This is the birth of a new segment on my blog, I often have ideas of things I want but the majority of the time they’re either impossible or just unavailable in today’s world. Out of my frustration I intend to post some of my ideas some of the time to the world in hopes that somewhere in the future they will be used and become a reality. Here is the first of hopefully many.

So the other night while me and @BurbankBoy were discussing what computer systems we wanted for our future home and idea popped into my head “Why not have a supercomputer-like system hooked up to tons of 3D HD Projectors and tons and tons of cameras all around the room?” They will in turn be the only display and input peripherals.

Imagine if you would, standing in a room and saying a command to turn the system on or reactivating it or maybe just having it set to come on when you enter said room… a text prompt appears in front of you and a virtual keyboard also appears you have the option of voicing your password or typing it in. Once you’re successfully logged onto your system you just have to say the name of the program that you want to open up and a virtual screen will appear somewhere in front of you, you can then touch this virtual screen and move it wherever you like and also touch two corners and drag to enlarge or shrink this screen.

Forget about Skype and other similar programs of today. With this setup you can project yourself into someone elses house and them into your and both have a conversation almost in person right next to each other but still be on the opposite sides of the world.

Gaming of today is just laziness imagine having a round tile on the floor with a treadmill like movement that can go in all directions you stand on this and you can walk run in any direction you please and a game will be projected all around you you can hold a virtual weapon and swing it at enemies or cast spells at them run in any direction you please… exploring vast jungles or caves as if you were really there. The cameras will track all of your movement and when you’re done playing you can lock the floor tile so it won’t move anymore and you can easily just walk off.

Maybe none of that is really your thing… But at least you can watch a movie and enlarge the screen in front of you… are bring cyber sex to an all new level and actually be in the same room together virtually… Whatever you can imagine you would be able to do it
