Another idea I had that was very very closely related were ‘Digital Floors’ which are basically the same thing but not really meant for videos, more meant for changing the look of your flooring, for people like me that get bored with the same thing very easily. Now this would have to be a very strong glass to be able to handle having furniture and people on it and possibly things falling on it… Personally it would be amazing if you could install it in a new home without any real floor underneath it on a top floor so you can occasionally turn it off and look at the floor below… But as I said the glass would have to be VERY strong for it to cover such large areas it would probably also need support beams underneath… But I’m not engineer or whatever those are the guys that would have to figure out all the minor details like that I’m just here to put out ideas.

So the other night while me and @BurbankBoy were discussing what computer systems we wanted for our future home and idea popped into my head “Why not have a supercomputer-like system hooked up to tons of 3D HD Projectors and tons and tons of cameras all around the room?” They will in turn be the only display and input peripherals.

Imagine if you would, standing in a room and saying a command to turn the system on or reactivating it or maybe just having it set to come on when you enter said room… a text prompt appears in front of you and a virtual keyboard also appears you have the option of voicing your password or typing it in. Once you’re successfully logged onto your system you just have to say the name of the program that you want to open up and a virtual screen will appear somewhere in front of you, you can then touch this virtual screen and move it wherever you like and also touch two corners and drag to enlarge or shrink this screen.

Forget about Skype and other similar programs of today. With this setup you can project yourself into someone elses house and them into your and both have a conversation almost in person right next to each other but still be on the opposite sides of the world.

Gaming of today is just laziness imagine having a round tile on the floor with a treadmill like movement that can go in all directions you stand on this and you can walk run in any direction you please and a game will be projected all around you you can hold a virtual weapon and swing it at enemies or cast spells at them run in any direction you please… exploring vast jungles or caves as if you were really there. The cameras will track all of your movement and when you’re done playing you can lock the floor tile so it won’t move anymore and you can easily just walk off.

Maybe none of that is really your thing… But at least you can watch a movie and enlarge the screen in front of you… are bring cyber sex to an all new level and actually be in the same room together virtually… Whatever you can imagine you would be able to do it

We finally get there and get to the hotel and check in I decide to wander around on my own. I walk across several streets until I’m at this mall thing and some kid was calling me a liberal as an insult? Not finding anything good in this mall and walking past this huge Santa’s workshop thing with a massive line and tons of people [and it was in the middle of summer?] I find my way to an exit and there are some other people standing there too. I play a song on my phone and it’s really loud some bitch screams and said if I didn’t turn it off they’d kill me. I turn mine off but I hear someone else playing a song and it’s a Morandi song. I notice it’s this super hot boy standing next to me. The exit door opens and we all walk out and I’m talking to him about Morandi he gets in his car to drive off but then stops and offers me a ride.

We go to his house where he starts talking about a sad incident in his family with a murder back in Romania and I’m about to cry when his whole family comes in and there’s like tons of them and then he introduces me to his brother because he walked in the room. His brother is rude and cold kinda shrugs me off. He starts saying rude things about me in Romanian to the rest of his family so I say something to him and he tries to kill me. It’s then that I realize that his brother was the one that murdered one of his sister’s in Romania. Cute boy helps me get out of the house and away. I run back to the hotel and climb up to the top of the building to take a picture of the city before we leave and then I woke up.

Whereas the dark, post-apocalyptic reimagined series revolved around a final bid for survival, Caprica is preoccupied with a world intoxicated by success. “It’s about a society that’s running out of control with a wild-eyed glint in its eye,” states Ronald D. Moore. The Twelve Colonies are at their peak, self-involved, oblivious and mesmerized by the seemingly unlimited promise of technology. Framed by the conflict between the Adamas and the Graystones over the resurrection of loved-ones lost in an act of terror, the series will explore ethical implications of advances in artificial intelligence and robotics.

Set against the backdrop of a society with technology a few decades ahead of our own, Caprica is more of a regular drama than a traditional space opera. Instead of space, violent conflict and a plot driven by action, Caprica features cityscapes and unfolds in stories which focus on corporate, political, familial and personal intrigue. With the troubled relationship between two families at its center, the series has even been likened to classic 1970s and 1980s prime time soap operas Dallas and Dynasty, garnering accolades such as “television’s first science fiction family saga.”

Though Caprica is a prequel, it is self-contained and viewers can join without having seen Battlestar Galactica. While it will explore elements of the backstory of the reimagined series, notably the emergence of artificial life and its progeny the Cylons, it will do so in a manner which requires no prior knowledge.

I would use terraforming technology to change the colours of the planet. The skies would be Purple, the clouds Yellow, the sun would be Blue and give off a clear light, grass and plants would be Teal, tree trunks and the like would be Silver, sand/dirt would be Orange, and the water would be Green. Please realize that ALL of the colours would be the bright versions of them with some variations and of course shadows =].

As for the architecture of my cities I think I’d like them created in different styles. Say one in maybe a futuristic Ghost in the Shell style, one in Repo! the Genetic Opera style Futuristic with some Victorian Gothic influences, and one in Alice in Wonderland style.

There are no separate countries just themed sectors on the planet. People are to live only in the cities unless they have a farming contract. There are no privately owned vehicles on the planet. There is a massive and safe system of public transport and we also have private teleportation to get people everywhere they need to go. People are encouraged to learn multiple languages. There is a large and still growing entertainment industry on the planet producing film, television, and music in multiple languages.

I would have certain rules and regulations for the good of my people. I would have no currency, people would just work for everything they wanted. School and Medical will always be 100% free. Just to clarify yes your TV and Utilities are also free. People can work any job they wish so long as they are good at what they do, don’t work and you’ll get nothing.. Unless of course you’re a member of my harem, RAWR. Science, Technology and Health are major priorities in research and development especially cybernetic implants, medical nanorobots, and cell repair machines.

Oil is untouched on our planet. Instead we grow Corn and Hemp for most things Oil can make and do and for energy we are constantly researching newer and better methods and implementing them. As of right now we are using Hydrogen, Solar, and Wind.

As for food people are not permitted to eat the majority of animals with exception to Chicken, Turkey, and Fish. However people are permitted to eat certain animal products such as Milk, Cheese, Eggs, and the like. People are encouraged to be mostly vegetarian however this does not mean that you’re vegan and you are permitted to pig out on junk food occasionally. But, as health is one of our main concerns we do encourage our people to exercise and stay fit, take supplements when needed, and also try to eat as healthy as they can.

Living on my planet is completely voluntary and if people decide they don’t like it they may always return to Earth. However being on my planet you will live by our rules and we do not allow violence, those found being violent will be vaporized on the spot. This is not an act of violence on our part this is removing the threat to our society as we do not have prisons. We do not believe in war, however if we are attacked we will attack back with weapons you can only imagine and none would stand a chance against their power, we also have far superiour defensive systems to any others that are known in the universe.

This may be added to and/or altered at any time when I can think of anything else for my planet.

4. Big Brother & Big Brother After Dark

I’ve just recently this season gotten into Big Brother. I’ve always hated it before this season but really got sucked into it this time… Maybe it was the bitchiness of Chima that pulled me in too bad she’s not in the house anymore. I’ve been watching all of the BBAD too if I don’t watch it live I watch it on the DVR so I don’t miss any scheming and drama =]

2. Skins Series 3

Alright I’ll admit I did say I wouldn’t watch Series 3 after they got a brand new cast… But Effie is still there and I must say I do love the new cast too maybe not as much as Series 1&2 but still there’s love there. Skins has always been and probably always will be Truth and I absolutely love it. Skins has a tendency to make me emotional at times with the characters and I tend to get strongly attached to them. Love it, one of my all-time favourite shows [all series]

1. True Blood

Ok big shocker here right? I love love love love me some True Blood the vampire traits are just perfection the characters and storylines are amazing. I get FAR too attached FAR too easily. Like I seriously cried like a baby the past episode where Godric basically killed himself in the sunrise. Vampires, Shifters, Maenads, soon to be Werewolves and other supernatural beings = major love <3 It just keeps getting better and every episode ends on like a cliffhanger leaves you DYING for the next episode!

Watch True Blood on HBO Sundays @ 9pm Eastern time. This seasons coming to an end soon though =[

I already know everything I’m getting from mum as she had me order it haha 2 pairs of pants, 2 shirts, a pair of Diesel shoes, a PS3 game, the first season of True Blood on Blu-Ray, I won’t be getting any of it until later though =[… as for the BF @BurbankBoy he sent me some money to my paypal and has so far bought me The Haunting in Connecticut, S. Darko, Push, My Bloody Valentine 3D all on Blu-Ray and still have some money from him just don’t know what else to get with it =P… And for cards I’ve only received one through the mail and that was from gramps and included a $50 check… Grams got me something but won’t know until later… as for anyone else I don’t think I’m even getting a card from anyone else and I’m not even sure if I’ll get anything from my dad…

As for the plans I’ve been told we’re going down to Myrtle Beach going to have dinner at Planet Hollywood and then go see La Grande Cirque which should be fun.. Just wish @BurbankBoy was going to be with me =[

My Blu-Ray Films

These idiots go around saying that with Up-conversion of DVDs and downloads of HD videos Blu-Ray will fall. First off have these people ever actually watched an Up-converted DVD? Sure it’s better than a normal non up-converted DVD fer sure but it in no way comes even close to the quality of Blu-Ray. Every time I put a Blu-Ray in to watch I’m amazed by the quality and it never fails. It’s not just the picture but it’s the audio too it’s as close to perfect as we can have with today’s technology. As for the HD Downloads have these people ever actually attempted to download a full movie in HD over a standard “High Speed” Internet connection that the majority of people have? It takes forever I’m sorry but I just don’t see that as being very convenient or easy.

Personally I have been trying to buy more Blu-Ray discs as of late to boost my collection unfortunately the issue that I run into is that the majority of the things that I like are Foreign this poses a problem because you just don’t really see Foreign films being released on Blu-Ray in the states right now just on DVD. This is probably because of the high cost to the distributors of these lesser known titles here. Now if they would just lower the cost to all distributors things would be better but this in no way can spell death for Blu-Ray because eventually as it is these costs will drop with time and then everything will be released on Blu-Ray.

I personally feel as though they need to start actually phasing out DVDs and the big name distributors can do this just release on Blu-Ray Discs. The companies making the Blu-Ray players can lower the prices a bit and give a voucher with every player for several free Blu-Ray discs to get people started. None of that is really needed it would just speed up the process faster. Without doing these things it will still take a little bit of time I mean look how long it took DVD to win over everyone from VHS.

Think about it this way instead of seeing time as a straight line think of it as being totally flat. Like everything is NOW be it the past, present, or future it’s all in the NOW.

I do believe in reincarnation too so I believe that we live all of our past and future lives all at the same time and I also believe that we’re also in spirit form and one with everyone and everything all at the same ‘time’.

After that there was nothing going on there so we went further down the road to Kure Beach and went to Jack Mackerel’s for dinner. I got the Rum and Plantain Chicken which was amazingly delicious just FYI. But while we’re eating this OLD ass couple seated in the booth across from us are in the same seat together making out and touching and he’s sucking on her neck and it was absolutely disgusting. We ended up telling a manager and such and left.

Went to the pier afterwards watched the water for awhile and I was watching this beautiful storm cloud that was over the ocean with lightning… Went into the shop attached to the pier and was getting some ice cream and I was helped by this cuteeeee boy awh he was probably like 18 or 19.. way cute and he told me which was his favourite flavour so I got that one lol “Trashcan” it’s a mix of pretty much all their ice cream ingredients I guess and it was pretty good too!

That’s pretty much about it came home after that not a very eventful night but yeah at least I got out of the house for a little bit even if it was with family which I do honestly hate being around family all the time drives me insane like you wouldn’t believe.
